Helping grandparents to pray effectively for their grandchildren.
* Or any children in your life.

My Story
In July, 2023 I drove to Minnesota to visit my new granddaughter. On my way back home to North Carolina, I was thinking over my current situation – retired, slightly bored and looking for a hobby to occupy my time.
In the past I wrote a different blog about middle age things like caring for aging parents and choosing to have gray hair. I loved blogging. And connecting with people. I thought maybe I’ll try this again.
So I’m driving along, thinking about different topics to blog about when God tapped me on the shoulder and said “Here’s an idea”.
Right there on US 35 in Ohio, God starts telling me that He wants a network of grandparents praying for their grandchildren! That all the problems this new generation is facing (the economy, gun violence, education and so forth) could be solved in one generation if these kids were raised in prayer. God will turn things around for them, if they follow after Him with all their hearts.
“Blog about that”, He said.
Please come join me.
His plan is to have grandparents in every state in the country praying this plan into being. I describe it as a lattice in a garden, where our prayers are the support structure, and our grandchildren are the seedlings growing up nurtured and raising to be strong.
We can be an online community, joined together in prayer – not just for our grandchildren – but for each other’s grandkids and the children in our churches and our cities.
My focus is on kids being born right now. Ones under their parent’s roofs, let’s say. (I won’t be checking anyone’s ID though.)
Let’s surround this generation in prayer and invite God’s will into their lives.

Let’s get started.
